HE Sheikh Khalid Bin Thani Al Thani gives away graduation certificates to the employees of International Islamic graduated from the first course of the program Excellence in Customer Service 2008

International Islamic conducted a special event on the occasion of the graduation of the first batch of the Bank employees who had undergone a specialized training program (Excellence in Customer Service). HE Sheikh Khalid Bin Thani Bin Abdulla Al Thani Chairman of Board of Directors gave away the certificates of graduation to the graduates who are branch managers and officials of operations and corporate credit relations and commercial financing.

Also present at the ceremony were Mr. Abdul Basit Al Sheibi CEO of International Islamic, Mr. Jamal Al Jamal General Manager Banking Services, Mr. Ismail Al Khafadhi Asst. General Manager Central Services, Mr. Ala Aldin Ismail Asst. General Manager Corporate Banking Services, Mr. Ali Hamad Al Musaifiri Executive Manager Personal Banking Services and officials of human resources in the bank.

HE Sheikh Khalid, in his speech while giving away the certificates applauded the efforts of the graduates, their desire and enthusiasm for achieving more skills and information in addition to their excellent experience that enriches the work in the International Islamic and facilitates the enjoyment of the best available norms of services to the customers.

The International Islamic during its extending journey since 1991 was capable of realizing its strong presence in the local and regional arena. It has become a symbol of pioneering, excellence and creativity in banking business and in the products and services and continuously presents more new and improved banking services; HE Sheikh Khalid added.

He said: behind this success achieved by the bank were the honest efforts, dedication and devotion of all the employees of the bank with the ardent spirit of loyalty and desire of work going ahead with an open and polite mentality facilitating more development and improvement daily to the bank activities in all aspects.

Sheikh Khalid also said: International Islamic greatly believes that the investment in human resources is best and most useful and yielding investment. It derives from our ensured satisfaction by the importance of being the International Islamic’s employees enjoying all characteristics, qualifications and skills to ensure that our customers are getting the services satisfying them and achieving the highest possible yield.

Sheikh Khalid advised the employees to strictly adhere to the excellence in customer service and making it a systematic work program they adopt with regard to all banking services and products presented in International Islamic. He stressed the need for continuing all the courses of this training program with the same spirit and diligence of the first course.

Mr. Abdul Basit Al Sheibi in his turn mentioned that this training program the first batch of which is graduating now is a part of the response of the International Islamic to the challenges for human resources development. It is considered as the dynamic force of every productive and creative work.

He stated that International Islamic’s employees have undergone during the last year 2007 more than 2238 training hours while the total training hours of previous periods during 2008 reached 2136 hours. This shows that the bank is proceeding rapidly for polishing the skills and qualifications of its employees in order to achieve the best standard of excellence and capability.

He said: International Islamic that ensures daily its capability of success, excellence and pioneering is achieving it by virtue of the collective efforts and team spirits of its employees and officials working in the bank. It has reflected positively on the work atmosphere and on presenting the best services and products according to international standards.

Mr. Al Sheibi added: active involvement in the modern banking programs and systems requires the employees to be continuously well versant to all what is new and undergo constant training programs to increase their expertise and knowledge which in turn will assure the satisfaction of the customers according to international standards of ability, accuracy and trustworthiness.

International Islamic had launched recently its specialized and comprehensive training program for banking services employees (Excellence in Customer Service 2008) after signing a special contract with Performance Inco for implementing such programs as part of the bank’s desire to give care to its customers and to render them the best banking services
