Commenting on the announcement of the winners of the National Day Cards Campaign, Mr. Omar Abdelaziz al-Meer, Head of the Business Development and Alternative Channels Sector at QIIB, said, "We are very pleased to congratulate the winner customers in the National Day Cards Campaign draw. During that campaign, we were keen to include as many winners as possible to share the joy of the National Day with our dear valued customers".

Mr Al-Meer said, "We are always keen to reward our customers for their loyalty by providing the best products and offers, which represent one of the aspects of our commitment to provide the best for the various customer segments, in line with the best standards and requirements in the banking market."

Mr Al-Meer said, "The National Day QIIB Cards Campaign was launched at a time where electronic payment solutions are witnessing a boom at the locally and internationally. Therefore, these prizes are considered a contribution from the bank to encourage digital transformation and electronic payment solution".

In addition, Mr. al-Meer stressed that, “QIIB card solutions have expanded steadily and witnessed a major development during the last period, through the issuance of new cards to new segments of customers, and increasing the card features by creating easy solutions that enable customers to obtain and use cards through the bank’s various digital channels, whether mobile banking, internet banking, telephone banking, ATM network, and the bank’s call center services."

Mr Al-Meer noted: “QIIB is keen to make its cards one of the easy payment solutions, and at the same time provide benefits and privileges to its holders, through the loyalty programme, the partners network, as well as the great features of QIIB cards in terms of local and global safety, trust and acceptance."

It is worth noting that the Cards Campaign provided QIIB (credit and debit) cardholders, regardless of the category, with an opportunity to win five prizes per week throughout the offer period, with each prize equivalent to 180,000 QIIB points.

To enter the draw and win one of the weekly prizes, cardholders only had to spend QR100 (as a minimum) during the period between November 29, 2020 and December 31, 2020 in order to get one chance to win when using their credit card inside Qatar, and two chances to win when using their debit and credit cards outside Qatar.

In addition, any payment made using QIIB Cards that met the conditions stipulated in the offer will automatically qualify to enter the draw, without the need for any specific action from the part of the customer concerned.

The winners were chosen automatically through an electronic drawing system under the supervision of a representative from the Quality License and Market Control Department at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
