Mr. Jamal Al-Jamal: Strong and continuous demand for the “Joud” Savings Account reflects our commitment to delivering benefits that meet customers’ aspirations, with a prize structure revamp coming soon

QIIB announced the lucky winner of the QAR 1 million grand prize for 2025 as part of the special draw for the “Joud” Savings Account prizes. During a ceremony held at the Bank’s Head Office on Grand Hamad Street, QIIB’s representative presented Ms. Maryam Abdullah Jaafar Al-Maseeh with a cheque in the amount of QAR 1,000,000. The ceremony was attended by a number of QIIB senior officials and was dedicated to honouring the grand prize winner of the “Joud” Savings Account for 2025.

On this occasion, Mr. Jamal Abdullah Al-Jamal, Deputy CEO,stated: “We congratulate the winner of the grand prize valued at QAR 1 million, and we also extend our congratulations to all customers who won prizes under the ‘Joud’ Savings Account during 2025. At QIIB, we are pleased to continue rewarding our customers by offering banking products and services that provide added value and competitive advantages that meet and exceed their expectations.”

He added: “The continued demand for the ‘Joud’ Savings Account reflects our customers’ trust in the product and its success in meeting their savings needs. It also underscores QIIB’s ongoing commitment to developing its products in line with banking market developments, further strengthening its position as a leading bank in delivering innovative banking solutions.”

Mr. Jamal Al-Jamal, further stated: “QIIB continues to study and analyze various performance indicators related to the ‘Joud’ Savings Account, with the aim of further developing the product in the coming periods and enhancing the benefits and advantages offered to customers—making it an ideal choice for savings accounts in the local market. We will soon announce substantial changes to the prize structure of the Joud Savings Account, following the completion of the required regulatory procedures and approvals.”

He also encouraged customers to take advantage of the benefits of the “Joud” Savings Account during the current year, increase their chances of winning multiple cash prizes, and benefit from the profit distributions offered by the account.

In a related development, five customers won the quarterly prizes for 2025, each valued at QAR 50,000, namely:

The draw for the “Joud” Savings Account prizes for the end of 2025 was conducted at QIIB’s Head Office, in the presence of a representative from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, along with a number of the Bank’s relevant officials.

It is worth noting that the “Joud” Savings Account offered by QIIB is considered one of the most competitive savings products in the local market, providing customers with multiple benefits—most notably generous cash prizes in addition to profit distributions paid on a quarterly basis, while allowing deposits and withdrawals at any time.

All QIIB customers holding a “Joud” Savings Account are eligible to enter the various prize draws. Each additional increase in account balance of QAR 10,000 grants an extra opportunity to win one of the many prizes offered by the account throughout the year.
