QIIB has announced a “competitive offer” for all its customers including personal and vehicles finance as part of the Qatar National Day celebrations. 

The finance offer will be available until December 17, the bank said yesterday. 

The new offer is aimed at meeting the aspirations of QIIB clients who seek to take advantage of attractive offers, and access personal or vehicles finance with the best profit rates and most favourable and easy conditions.

The Islamic bank’s existing and new customers as well as customers of other banks, who will transfer their salaries and obligations to QIIB can “avail of the offer at a competitive profit rate.” 

The monthly installment for a personal finance of QR100,000 will be QR1,618 for Qataris, which can be settled over a period of 72 months compared to QR2,318 in 48 months for expatriates. 

The optional grace period for payment up to January 2017 will be given to Qataris, whereas expatriates can seek up to three months grace period.  

As for vehicle finance, QIIB provides a 2.18% flat during the offer period. Qataris can make the payment over a period of 72 months and expatriates 48 months. Finance will be provided for both new and used vehicles, but expatriates will be eligible for only 80% of the value. Qataris will be eligible for 100% vehicle finance. 

QIIB Deputy CEO Jamal Abdulla al-Jamal said, "Qatar National Day is an important occasion and we want to express our pride on this joyful occasion. So we have decided to share the joy with all our customers through distinct and attractive offers that relieve them of some of their obligations".

He said, "We are keen to provide these offers as valuable gifts from the bank to our customers during such an important occasion. 

He added: "This is not the first time that we present such offers during Qatar National Day; it has become a tradition with us.”

Al-Jamal said customers could contact the bank branches across Qatar to benefit from the offer and experience quality banking for which QIIB is renowned for.
